The Principle of Gender and its Impact in our Lives

All things in life contain pieces of both the masculine and feminine energies. Balance of the masculine and feminine energies are a key component in the existence of all life. This does not simply apply just in sex, as “male and female.” It applies to the ways that nature is created and in the creative aspects of all things on earth. The Principle of Gender and its impact in our lives is something that is worth contemplating and understanding in greater detail.

This principle ties back to the Principle of Correspondence. Masculinity and femininity exists in the physical plane, the mental (thought plane), and the spiritual plane as well. Gender plays a role in all things from generation, creation, and re-generation. Literally existence cannot come into being without the Principle of Gender.

Right Brain Vs. Left Brain

The masculine side of gender is the more aggressive, progressive, conquest driven, explorative energy that drives progress. The feminine is the open-minded, sacred, treasured, protective energy, that maintains tradition and honors the priority of what is most important in life. This also materializes in the “left-brain,” versus, “right-brain,” aspects of thought

Some may have heard of the characteristics of left brain people being more critical in thought, practicality, and immersed in the details of life. Nothing can be true to these individuals unless proven through factual evidence. Then there are the more right-brain thinkers that express themselves in the arts, are more open to new perspectives, and tend to be more creative and thought provoking in their thinking.

“Left-brain,” tends to be more masculine based and “right-brain” can be seen as more feminine. The key is to try and “balance” this thinking in order to become the most aware and effective in our everyday lives. Too much masculine energy, without a good balance of feminine, can lead to a power struggle to the extremes of possible reckless abandon.

In this modality we lose perspective of what is most important and forget the principles which began our purpose in the first place. Masculine energy tends to be very “forward and future based.” With too much feminine energy, without a balance of the masculine energy, we can be left dangling without action, purpose, and causation. We would be too aloof in our own thought. Feminine energy tends to remain in the present moment and does not lean too far into the future.

The Balance of the Gender Principle

All beings contain this gender principle within them; they exist as two parts for the whole. Every male has feminine energy, and every female has masculine energy. In some, the scales tip far to the extremes. The goal again to get the best return and insight to balance ourselves and use both these energies to their fullest extent.

The most exponential use of this principle is how Gender can be made responsible for creation, generation, and re-generation on the mental and spiritual planes. Power can be found through the balancing of the gender energies within us in regards to our relationships and environments in which we inhabit

Tuning Into Your Balance of Life

By tuning into these energies we can begin to realize truths regarding how present we are with our lives. How focused are we on the future and past verse the present moment? What have we have sacrificed for our goals and aspirations? How do we choose to protect and honor are our highest priorities? Have we stretched our learning and development in pursuit of what we desire the most? Are we willing to give in order to receive?

If these energies are in balance in our lives, we can get into better synchronicity with life. Choosing the middle path between extremes and seeking to balance all things in life is one of the keys to becoming the most centered in life. The Principle of Gender is just one of seven principles to help you bring more understanding and balance to your life.

Find Your Own Truth

I hope anyone reading has enjoyed the breakdown on the seven principles of Natural Law. These teachings come from the Hermetic background. It is not a background that I formally subscribe to. Rather, I find a great deal of truth in these principles that pertains to my own life.

As I’ve stated in other posts, I’m simply aiming to find truth in life. I’ll take truth that resonates and feels right from any source, and the hermetic Kybalion seems to resonate at a high level for me. But don’t simply take my word for it, feel free to research for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

I welcome everyone to obtain their own truths. Dive deep into what they are given to try and understand if they are simply following a tradition that has been passed down, or perhaps stigmatized from a personal biased perspective from human kind. Ask if what you come across resonates at a high frequency of truth in life that cannot be left up for interpretation.

I prefer to base my studies in left and right brain thinking, all while trying to stay as balanced as possible while constantly working to achieve lasting self-mastery, without straying too far from my own personal growth path.

Best of luck to all brave enough to venture into the unknown but determined enough to come back with the truth…

I welcome any and all thoughts – please don’t be shy and leave a thought, comment, or situation in your life that you came across that made a great impact for you.

The Principle of Vibration and its effect in Life

Everything in life is vibrating. Life is made up of energy. The chair I sit on as I type this post is not actually solid. It is made up of billions and billions of tiny little atoms swirling around at such a fast pace that the chair appears solid and even holds me in place. But, the chair is not actually “solid matter.” The Principle of vibration and its effect in life is something that we need to understand in order to see the bigger picture.

In my previous blog post, we discussed the principle of correspondence, the second of the 7 principles of the Kybalion. The third principle of Vibration builds upon this learning. Feel free to go back and read it as well as the first principle of mentalism.

Atoms are Actually Empty Space

Science and physics have come a long way over the centuries and in the modern era we have come to understand energy is at the center of everything. It has been proven true that atoms are actually made up of empty space.

Here’s some mind-bending statistics – an atom’s nucleus is only a few femtometers across. A femtometer is actually a word, I didn’t just make it up, though it sounds like it. A femtometer is about a thousand million millionth of a meter. Super incredibly small.

So now we need to understand exactly how far away the electrons are from the nucleus of the atom. They actually travel around the nucleus at a distance of one-ten-billionth of a meter away from the core. To “right size” this – it’s 100,000 times the width of the nucleus. A comparison to this would be if the nucleus were a basketball centered in Manhattan, then the electrons flying around it would be circling from about the distance to Philadelphia. All the space in between the rotation — is empty space.

The chair you are sitting in is made of empty space. I know it sounds crazy, but it’s proven truth now by science. The electrons and the nuclei are constantly engaging through the force known as electromagnetism. Each circumference around the atom is carried about the rotation through an electronic force of a particle of pure energy called a photon. Each photon pushes back with equal force, a tiny push or pull enabled across the emptiness in space. And that, along with some other quantum physics jargon, is really what’s keeping my ass from drifting through “the stuff” I call my chair. It is really all the “energy force” of this process that holds the chair together.

The Human Body is Vibrating

Enough with the science lesson. Energy makes up the physical world. This energy is in constant vibration and movement. The human body “vibrates.” The body can generate mechanical vibrations at very low frequencies, so-called infrasonic waves.

Different organs of the human body produce different resonance frequencies. For example, the heart resonance frequency vibrates at 1 hertz. The brain has a resonance frequency of 10 hertz. Everything we see in life is vibrating at a set pace; some really fast and some really slow. To really understand this try and think of a tire on a car or truck moving VERY fast. It almost can appear that it’s not moving at all right? And at the lowest levels of vibration, objects move extremely slow. They appear to be not moving at all -think rocks and trees.

Between these two states of super fast and very slow, there exist infinite manifestations all occurring at varying octaves of vibration, each with their own existence and reactionary states.

Be More Mindful

I believe that human thought has its own level of vibration. We can tune it like an instrument to produce different results. With better understanding of the principle of vibration, we can aim to generate self-improvement in this physical form. We even can learn to manifest thoughts into existence in our own lives. We just need to be mindful of what thoughts we want to manifest. That depends on becoming more mindful and aware of our mental and emotional state.

As we can better understand vibration and our own frequency; harmony and resonance increases, and thus our power over ourselves and our world. This is the way that we ultimately can control and better ourselves, along with the entire world – one…person…at…a…time.

What examples of the principle of vibration have you witnessed in your life? Please feel free to comment, leave a reply, and join in the conversation. I’m always open and looking for great connections.

Reflections…

The time of year has come to reflect on what was and look forward to what is coming. I wanted to take pause and put some thought out on how I’m looking back, in order to move ahead as positively as possible. A friend and Mastermind Leader of a group I am in threw this out to our group today as a good platform for as we enter the new year:

3 things that I am most proud of:

  • 60lbs of weight loss (I was 250lbs at the end of 2019, now much healthier 190lbs)
  • 365 days of legitimately beating my 1000 calorie move goal and exercising every day this year never taking a day off from physical activity
  • Investing in myself – joined a Mastermind Group, read 15+ books, listened to hundreds of podcasts while doing my morning exercise, began writing my 1st book

3 things I need to do differently:

  • Make more time for fun activities with my wife – could be playing board games, cooking with her, watching movies, or really just anything she wants to do. 2020 has limited us in our abilities to have fun how she and I used to with travel, so I need to prioritize time versus just “sitting at home with her.” That isn’t the “kind of time” I want to spend with her. It needs to be of higher quality
  • Commit to a meditation routine for 20 mins daily without fail
  • Plan daily / weekly initiatives, outside of work, so I can insure I accomplish personal goals

Top 3 greatest influencers for me:

  • James Clear – “Atomic Habits”
  • Dave Asprey – “Super Human”
  • John Baines – “The Stellar Man”

Smartest Decisions I made:

  • Investing in a Mastermind Group (I’ve seen great connections and bridges open up for me out of the group I attend bi-weekly since September)
  • Choosing my health and fitness over any other excuse not to
  • Investing in Overstock.com before online shopping grew exponentially (was more luck, but I fell into it with a small investment that paid off as the stock soared due to everyone staying home and being online)

Most caring acts of service:

  • My volunteering for hospice care (although this had to stop due to obvious circumstances in the present world environment)
  • Mentoring 3 different individuals throughout the year
  • Volunteering time to serve meals to those less fortunate through the holiday season

Biggest risks:

  • Cashing out of my Bitcoin stake and moving into a lesser known crypto currency (I believe this will payoff far more than my Bitcoin gains in the future but time will tell – all investments in crypto are high risk / high reward)
  • Writing a book (only because I truly don’t know where that future is taking me)
  • My foray into FOREX trading of currency (just toying around with it to learn right now, but again – high risk / high reward)

Most important relationships improved:

  • My relationship with my wife – even during the challenges of this year, I feel her and I are closer than we’ve ever been. We have aligned on “similar paths” of focus and interest in 2020 that is helping us bond at higher levels
  • My relationships with my family – while it never seems enough to me, I talk more with them and see them more than I have in years past
  • My relationship with the team I lead – I am responsible for 6 highly unique individual leaders, that I feel in my second year in position, has really seen our professional cohesiveness as a team grow stronger

One word that best describes all of 2020:

  • “Mental-Fortitude” – okay it’s technically two words by I hyphenated them to make it seem like one 😉

3 things to do less of in 2021:

  • Less time perusing apps on my phone (I’ve already cut out most all TV – now time for the wasted time on my phone – time is our greatest asset and I want as much of it productive as humanly possible)
  • Less time spent on politics – I simply cannot control it so I cannot allow the frustration to set in that at times can consume me
  • Staying up late – I want to ensure my days begin no later than 5:30am everyday for all that I want to accomplish in the New Year (personally and professionally)

3 things to do more of in 2021:

  • Weekly practicing to learn guitar (just bought a brand new guitar that I’m learning and can’t wait to become proficient on it)
  • Weekly practicing of my Spanish as I aim to be able to hold full conversations in the language
  • Write 500 words each day to contribute to my 1st book as well as my new blog “Ungraduated.com”

3 things to stop doing in 2021:

  • Stop making any excuses for not prioritizing my wife first before all else – she has been my rock and my soulmate as we’ve been together 20+ years…I will not take our time together for granted
  • Stop drinking completely during the week and limit drinking to just 2 times at most monthly (every other weekend for one evening of the weekend)
  • Stop my incessant daily Starbucks habit and cut it back as I work to get on 100% organic coffee

My personal Mantra for 2021 – “BE WITH ABUNDANCE

There is so much I have to be thankful for in my life and I know that it is my daily attitude, thoughts, and constant gratitude that will bring even more abundance into my life from the universe. This is so that I can continue to bring what I aspire after into the world for the impact that I hope to make for those around me.

For the many challenges 2020 has brought, there is much goodness laying within it. I hope this post helps bring some self-realization for anyone that may read it and perhaps challenge some similar thoughts and reflections.

May 2021 be of happiness, success, and peace for all that are seeking it to be so…
