The word “sovereign” comes from the Latin words “Supra” – meaning above or not below, and Regnum – meaning kingdom or dominion. This translates to “freedom” or not under rulership of any kingdom or dominion. To be a “sovereign being” literally means to rule your own kingdom. Sovereignty does not come from governments, kings, queens, dictatorships, indoctrinations, or other programmable views onto others.
I believe sovereignty it is granted by the Rights of the universe, God, The Source, (insert name for any universal higher power or natural order you believe in) to the individual to live as he or she sees best for themselves. Contrary to some beliefs, we as humans do have a sovereign right to do what we individually feel best for ourselves without direction from governments or other indoctrination groups. It is often the belief of the masses that governments, rulers, and education systems have a right to infringe upon others what they think is best for the masses.
These infringements come in many different shapes and sizes and often are hard for modern humans to distinguish as we have been led to perceive the current world we live in through the eyes of the system that created it.
For example, is it not right that as parents we teach our children to see the world as WE see it and deem it best for their success? How about when it comes time to send our children off to school so that they can learn history, science, literature, and other programs through which they are to view and understand the world? At least in the field of Mathematics it is hard to dispute the outputs of the black and whiteness of the structure through which the numbers work. That is not debatable, but why would we simply not present known evidence to our youth through our learnings of time and let them decide on their own what to believe rather than “testing them” on what teachers just taught them to believe? The current method of education is more akin to “here’s your program; if you don’t take it as I have provided it to you, then you fail and cannot move forward as part of the operating system.” If you really pull back the layers of the current education system, it is a lot more like stripping away the individuality that we all possess, and then accepting the social norms and belief systems that have been placed upon us.
Could there not be a better way of education? I would like to think that the human mind can come up with a far better system in order to provide the necessary means for our youth to function within our current system of life. I’m not saying all education systems are bad or negatively impacting our youth. By all means there are times when a process such as mechanics, engineering, human biology, and many others must be provided in a “matter of fact” way. I would hate to be the patient about to receive open heart surgery from a physician that has decided to “do it his own way.” I am speaking more in terms of education that can and should be left up to interpretation to the individual.
When we reside ourselves to allow the programming of our minds with insight that doesn’t come from our own methods of self-discovery or truth vetting, then we allow for a little bit of our own sovereignty to erode away.
“If someone can change your mind, he or she has won you over without raising a hand against you. This is the future of warfare.”
~ Bangambiki Habyarimana, Pearls of Eternity ~
This wonderful quote from Bangambiki foreshadows what is in store for humanity if we continuously allow our minds to be stolen from the sovereign gift that the universe has given each of us – the ability to think, choose, and act independently of one another. We will find that we become more like cattle being herded into the pens designed by others to mentally keep us where they deem it appropriate if we are not searching and seeking our own truths.
I see a future in which humanity has consciously evolved beyond the need to indoctrinate itself. A future without governments, religious persecutions, money, and “manmade laws.” Within this future society will function for the betterment of itself, rather for the “almighty manmade dollar.” We will do right by others without the need for incentive because we care more for the collective rather than the individual.
I know that this future sounds like a far off Utopian dream, but through the permission of letting our own sovereignty guide us through life, I believe we can attain it. All it takes is creative thinking and the challenging of the current system. The power struggle will ensue as those upholding the current belief system have worked hard to cement it into our realities. After all – they have worked hard to fool us into to believing it must be this way. They have far more to lose and we have only to gain from collapsing the current operating system.
The choice should be ours if we simply allow it to be. We don’t need to continue to shackle ourselves within this broken reality – we are the many, they are the few.
Keep after “Your Why” – the rest will follow.
